------------ No pun intended but cant this guy catch a break,I mean didnt he just receive a tear in his back and was trying to rehab it which is why he was put in tag matchs,he should should have dropped the title and got the surgery when he had the chance I think this injury stems from that tear in his back possiably stress caught up to it or something, this sucks for Smackdown and WWE,they are really in a dilema now

now i think they will have to make him drop the title. he needs surgery, or at least rehab, and they cant use this on the shows again like at survivor series. cena lost his title, so why not batista? i heard they were going to have batista drop it to orton at wm22, so how about he drops it to him now, and orton has a longer reign with it. i mean, if he gets hurt this much, the wwe cant trust him to stay healthy lol
edit- hold on, check this out: from wwe.com

Kurt Angle wins the World Heavyweight Championship January 10, 2006 Kurt Angle won the World Heavyweight Championship Tuesday night at the SmackDown television taping in Philadelphia. In one of the most shocking moments in recent SmackDown history, RAW's Angle walked out from the locker room area and into the SmackDown ring to compete in the Battle Royal ordered by General Manager Theodore Long. The addition of Angle to the Battle Royal clearly caught many Superstars off guard, and he became an immediate target of the SmackDown roster. In fact, Mark Henry even slammed Angle through the announce table at ringside. Angle was able to withstand the attack, however, and in the end Angle last eliminated Henry to be crowned the new World Heavyweight Champion. Afterwards, Angle celebrated in the ring while the audience in Philadelphia looked on in total amazement. Of course, the crowning of a new World Heavyweight Champion was ordered after an injured and emotional Batista was forced to surrender the title earlier in the night due to injury. Be sure to watch SmackDown this Friday night on UPN to watch this truly historic event unfold. ----------------- Holy Shit Kurt Angle finally becomes a champion again, this is twice in one week WWE has done this, finally a crediable champion this has to be a good birthday present to me lol,im still shocked about this
